I have the following Issue with a black line in this skin I am working on.
It looks great in RGB mode in photoshop (7), and looks good when I convert to index color to save as an 8 bit bmp. Yet when I view it in AH, it looks like this: I haven't added the panel lines yet.

the line is actually a selction stroke 2 pixels wide. Can any one suggest any ideas why this might be? It is a 1024x1024 texture when saved.
Dan.
The plane I am doing is the last on the list (http://320thbg.org/b-26_serial_numbers1.html)

I think this may be an issue when the skin is 'stretched' over the 3D model by the texture map. I see similiar occurences on the tops of many fuselages in front of the cockpit.
You could try making it long 'wrong' in Photoshop to get it to look 'right' in the game?

Hi 2Hawks.
Try moving it slightly forward or backward. The forward line is clearly more sharply defined then the aft line so if you're lucky, you might solve it by moving the whole stripe forward a few pixels.
