Well, mr smarty pants, let's hear your answer to the question.
-
...if it's a good one, we'll make you president. :aok
-
Face it, the Indians were here first, and they deserve to rule themselves within their own boundries, who should be appointed supreme sovern of all indian nations? Why the eldest person of a tribe of course, no violent acts should be commited, and all Indian laws are for the designated Indian reservation only...
Come on you guys, learn what words mean..
-
Oh and yes I looked it up on google,
but I'm not president of the USA..
-
Bush's answer was better than yours. Try again.
-
I'm also 16, and he's the Prez of the USA, and I make more sense then him, the words he said arn't even in the dictionary...

What's your basis for this? It's certainly not based in American Indian traditions.
-
Hawklore, be my kookum.
-
Elders in Japan are held high...
And I think they should be too...
American Indian Tradition is to send the elders out on a last walk basicly, so they can kill themselves, or starve to death..
Dude don't think I'm stupid...
Atleast I know what the question was about...

Gladly, shall I make your moccasins for you?
-
Then don't write stuff like that and I won't. Otherwise, how can anyone help it?
The idea that tribal leadership automatically went to the eldest male is... well, you said it.
-
Lets see,
I'm 16, I am part Cherokee (and don't know enough about Cherokees as I should), I hate math, yet am good at it.
And am not the president of the United States of America, as Bush is god knows how old, and is the Prez of USA... He should know how to answer that...
Even the audience is laughing at him..
-
I'm happy for ya. Maybe you should just stick to posting stuff about Math then.
At least until you get some time to read more history.
-
And here I always thought First Nations people (not my term) were matriarchal. My bad.

I don't really understand what you are so on about....He stumbled over his words but basically said that Native American Tribes have their sovreinty(spelling)...and the relationship with the Federal govt..is with sovreign entities...don't tell me you answer all questions without having to search for words....or are you perfect?
-
I said I searched for words, jeeze....
He just broke up the damn word..
-
Entity:
[n] that which is perceived or known or inferred to have its own physical existence (living or nonliving)
Sovereign:
[n] a nation's ruler or head of state usually by hereditary right
[adj] of political bodies; "an autonomous judiciary"; "a sovereign state"
[adj] greatest in status or authority or power; "a supreme tribunal"
Um a Sovern Entity, sure.....
Due it has a physical existence....
-
Ok, he makes a little sense now, listening to it the 5th time, but He still makes himself look dumb, esp at the end..
-
My pappy always told me that you do not criticise the job another does unless you are damned sure you can do the job better. I think you should take that to heart, and since you are part Cherokee, you should learn at least a minimum about AI traditions. I am Choctaw, and know the history of my people.
-
dumb shut
-
Heh, he looked like a buffoon, and I bet he'll have the answer to that question if it comes up again. I think the politician in him made him talk, even though his mind had nothing to give to his mouth. But, I'm not sure what this has to do with whether to vote for him or not...anyone here who has never done something to make themselves look completely stupid, please take a step forward.
-
16! it all makes perfect sense now!
IKON
-
In some tribes it was on how many of your enemies you killed. Dare we interfere with that tradition?
If they are soverighn and taking up our space and weak...
Maybe we should declare war on em?

Last time I checked we kicked the Indians out. They could have fought back and beat us, but they didn't.
Julius Caesar didn't say, "I came, I saw, I felt really bad..."
I think it's so funny how people try to give rights to those beaten in war.
