Right now it's stationary.
I think it will stop moving westward and will move north along the east coast, making landfall somewhere in Georgia.

It is suppose to be in the Gulf later. Hope it does not strengthen over the warmer waters. We are suppose to see it memorial day.
I am so happy it dropped from 140 to 110. Even though it is large in area the wind speed factor makes it it a much more benign storm. The slow speed though allows for much more rain which has its own inherent dangers. Rather have the torrential rains than 150ish winds.
I feel lucky it has lost strength. Just wish it would go into the gulf and die a quick death.

good luck all in it's path.

Most unusual hurricane I've ever seen formed in the Gulf overnight without warning, (like it just un-cloaked 400 miles south of Mobile,) and headed directly northeast by north. It hit Pensacola after two days and then proceeded to do bad damage in the Columbus, Ga. area, 300 miles inland!!! It went up through SC I think. It didn't slow down a bit, was like a big knife and did a lot of wind damage to P'Cola. That was Opal in '86 I believe.
Eagler is right. The large eye is good. This one looks like a gullywasher. Good luck Florida.
