Didn't really plan it....Oldest 7, Middle 3, Youngest 2 (thelast two are 11 months apart in age)...My parents waited 3 years between Me and my little bro..and that seems to be a good waiting time.

5 years. On a "do over" I might cut that back to 4 years but 5 wasn't bad at all.

I wanted mine spaced by a few years, as did my older brother; my younger brother wanted to get the diaper thing over with and had his Bam! Bam!.

3 years between my two sons.  Seems to be a good split.  They are good friends, but with enough time differance between them to be easier to raise, and not suffer the lose of both from the household near the same time.

When our first was 2 years old, we couldn't decide if we wanted another...one was not enough, two was too many!  So we let fate take its course...after number two then I went to the doctor to ensure I had control of fate ;)

My wife took 3 years and 3 miscarriages before our first came along, so we weren't quite sure how long it would take for the 2nd when we decided to let fate take its course.  No problems on the 2nd pregnancy.

Yeah...the doc said no "doin' it" for 6 weeks...so that accounts for the first month and  a half......so it had to have been one of the times shortly after that period...really wasn't planned that way...and it's not easy having 2 so close in age lots of competition for attention..and it cost a whole hell of alot in Diapers having to buy for 2:D

3 kids 2 years-6 months between 1 & 2, 2 years-2 months between 2 & 3.

it's not a bad spacing, far enough apart that they have their own friends.  close enough together that they don't mind doing things together (so they don't feel like they are babysitting when the little sister comes along, occasionally.

plus school spacing is 2 years, so the older ones still remembers most of the work and can help the younger understand.  another added benefit is that my oldest loves to teach things to his sisters and had both girls reading at or above 1st grade level before they started first grade (the youngest before she was in kindergarten), he also had the youngest doing multiplication before she was through with 1st grade.
