Can anyone guess which player is famous for saying this?
Ingress: Always climb, climb, climb til your ears bleed and your
bowels loosen. 50k to 60k is an acceptable altitude to cruise at.
Always make sure that other friendly planes are nearby and well BELOW
you so that your enemy will attack them instead of you.
Combat: Always begin a merge at least 20k-30k above your opponent. Make sure that he is already engaged with other friendly fighters. Never engage him unless you outnumber him 14-4 or better. Don't worry about diving right through 7 of your own fighters to steal the kill, just make sure you don't waste Energy making any silly turns so that you can resume your climb back up to 50k alt.

It would be me except for the "steal your friends kills" bit.
No sense in losing 30k alt just to kill an enemy thats about to die anyway.
The rest of it is about right though ;^)

Also, I won't engage unless the odds are better than 20 to 1. That's why God gave us 10 fingers and 10 toes, until you can't count the friendlies with your socks off it just ain't safe yet! :eek:

I would be lying if I didn't tell you that I am the greatest pilot
that ever lived. For the less fortunate of you who will never reach my
level of excellence, I have described some of my unique manuevers in
simple terms that your small brains can understand. So here is my
typical standard operating procedure:
1. Take Off : Never choose any other plane except [Insert fast plane here]. If you fly
any other plane, you suck.
2. Ingress: Always climb, climb, climb til your ears bleed and your

I realize it is doubtful that the rest of you would be able to put these
ingenius tactics into practice. It would be a waste for you to even

skills neccessary to perform these feats of aerial combat mastery. I
would therefore invite you all to continue flying below me providing bait for wary enemy fighters.
Just continue your silly little turn
fighting and I'll dive in and save the day!

Nahh Tumor i'll leave that to other people to say. Basically i know if levi is good or not from my own experiences of flying with him. No need to preach about it. I don't see him bragging either though so i'll leave it to others as i have already stated. Does Drex still play? Haven't been around for about a month and a half

I could care less about what people think of me or not.I play for personal enjoyment not an ego trip. I have fun flying with some people and that's all i want. To enjoy the few moments i have to play. Which has not happened lately. Hence my lack of playing time

Hate to go a tad offtopic Ack-Ack, but I'm looking for a similarly written thingy that was posted on the BBS's about a year ago , or so. The person talks about coming into contact with 20 - 30 planes and says "ok base it's just some scouts" or something like that......do you remember that one? It was written like 'pilot to base' , kinda story.
It was a name thats still around. It was funny as he11.

To be honest, I love the 'press' that I fly extremely high, it gives me free reign down low while the bounty hunters are cruisin' around 10k above me in vain. But, truth be told, I rarely get above 20k. The one thing I do that perpetuates the myth is make DAMN sure I am at least a little bit above my prey, especially if I am in an E-Fighter that turns like crap (ie:Fw190A8 in AW, JugD40/Typhoon in AHII). If, I am in such a fighter and not higher than my prey, no one ever knows because I am nowhere to be found, that is my talent.

Rumor has it that he was getting numerous complaints when using vox by those that were using external speakers.
Seems that on many occasions he had called up wolves, bobcats and other varmints to peoples houses. They had mistaken his voice for a dieing rabbit. :D

Aint nuthin like seeing a baby seal get clubbed by the vets, here on the BB or in the MA, it's still good...

There used to be a Toad in AW around the '94-'95 time period that always flew a P-47 at 40k+. Dont know if it is "our" Toad or not.

I don't find it in the least bit amusing. I have had enough of AK-AK and his constant cheap shots, this just goes waaaay beyond. In light of the recent fiasco with regard to Metapotato, I do not want any utter fictional crap peddled around these forums in my name, especially by pond scum such as AK-AK.

Do you remember the one I'm talking about? I kinda figured it was not the same Toad since their flying styles were so different. I'm sure there were others, but that Toad AW circa '94-95 was the worst (best?) alt monkey I ever saw. :)
