word is that some vympel troopers were kia assaulting the terrorists holding the kids. i dont read or write russian and the only phrases i know how to speak are things like "hands up" and "where is the nearest train track". :) if the ids of the vympel guys kia are reported by itar-tass or someplace similar please report what you read here. i know a couple of guys in that outfit but i cant get ahold of any of them right now theyre probably really busy for obvious reasons. id really appreciate it.

Made a brief search, didn't find any names so far :(
It can be so that they'll not report the name of warriors KIA at all...

Hey Boroda... got an interesting question from a buddy of mine - youre th eonly Red I know.
How are the people showing "sympathy" in Russia for this right now? Russian flags on cars, outside houses, stickers etc?
Anything like that - similar to what we had over here post 9/11?
