Will a torpedo sink a PT boat?

yes

I'm sad to report that it will in fact.. I was in the middle of a huge navy battle one night many moons ago when I happened to look in the water and see a torpedo wake on a collision course, instead of moving I sat there and asked myself that very same question... and I'm sorry to report that yes it will.  :)

One time when we had two CV groups going head on both the fleets died.  So what did we do?

25 pts per side going at each other as fast as possible guns and torpedos ablazing.  They would just drop like flies as the torpedos ripped into them.
