If I'm not mistaken, the car in front is an Isetta. I think it is a product of Bavarian Motor Works.

It is a a Messerschmitt Kabinenroller. Willey made cars after WW2.

"Sales of the KR 200 were excellent, with almost 12,000 sold in its first year. To prove the Messerschmitt's stability and durability, a slightly modified KR 200 was driven continuously for 24 hours on Germany's Hockenheim race course. It broke 22 international speed records in the under-250 cc class, including a 24-hour average of 103 km/h (63.9 mph).
In 1956 Messerschmitt was allowed to resume aircraft building, and lost interest in the Kabinenroller. Fend organized his own company and continued building them. Convertible and sports roadster models joined the bubble-top, and then, in 1958, in spite of waning bubble car interest, and competition from the side-by-side seating BMW Isetta and Heinkel Kabine, Fend brought out the new Tg 500, known as the Tiger.
While the Tg 500 looked like a KR 200 with four wheels, it was really more than that. Power came from a two-cylinder, two-stroke, air-cooled 493 cc in-line engine developing 19.5 horsepower. This raised top speed to about 122 km/h (75 mph). It also got hydraulic brakes. "

But 122 km/h on a 19 HP engine, impressive, I must say. Guess Willy didn`t forget how to get the max. speed out of a given engine, eh?
It`s also evident that Willy`s designs liked to break previous records. That guy was truly a genius.

Can`t beat the sight of a 'hand-tuned' Trabant beating a 220HP+ BMW sportcars in acceleration, which I just seen.
Long live the DDR, lol.
BTW, it`s appears that the trend with these tiny street cars is coming up again, see Mercedes and it`s Smarts. Fist every thought it`s crazy, but frankly it`s a really good idea for cities - save that they made you pay for the Mercedes Star on it. I`d rather see that star on my SLR klasse, though. ;)

Fiat also made sedan 1200's which later were manufactured as LADA. Those were just cool too ;)

No, Fiat came up with an improved version of it's pre-war Topolino, a small car built to the standards of a big one. After that came the 500. Very tiny but still a genuine 'real' car. It cannot compare to the Kabinenroller or the Heinkel and BMW Isetta. These were motorized scooters more or less, the Fiat 500 was conceived as a small car from the outset. May be the reason why it was built into the 1970's. As the 'wirtschaftwunder' progressed in WWII Germany, people traded their bubble cars in for Volkwagen Beetles.
