Seriously read some reviews online, alot of em compare cards. If I were you I'd go google for a week and read up. Alot of you guys are putting systems together on a whim and now have these simple questions you could figure out with a quick search instead of flooding HTC forums every hour without searching and doing the homework. I hope you dont drop that change on someones opinion. Some of us are bias *cough ATI cough* :p

some forums I use when determining video cards and components.

http://www.rage3d.com  for ATI questions.

http://www.sharkyforums.com  for middle of the road opinions.

http://www.driverheaven.net for ATI & Nvidia questions.

search (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/search.php?s=)

Also on newegg there are user reviews on each item. Read those!  ,some valuable info to be had. Alot of people make the plunge and you hear the truth about how cards perform with various sysems they post on.

Just bought the Gainward 6800GT Golden Sample. VERY GOOD, just a bit noisy ....

DONT buy 6800Ultra. Well cooled overclocked 6800GT can easily run at Ultra speed ....

7200 rpm hdd have been the standard for years,
now u think about your pc
When it gets real slow and laggy the best thing to do is defrag your hard disk and delete files from it..

you should notice that the more things on your hard disk the slower your pc starts up. This sis due to pc having to read data from the hard disk...

There is no point making your pc able to read data faster if the hard disk will only alow the same speed.

Most pc cystem's become uber fast when u format the hard disk and reinstall only windows

Again this is becous only data hdd has to offer is windows..

think about it...
If you had a real fast pc and a 4x cd rom drive
a real slow pc with 48x cd rom drive would boot up the cd much faster than you.

theres nothing wrong with 7200rpm  But ever since the amd 500 p1, They been to slow :)

Get a 6800GT card and you should be set for quite a while on the video card end. Unless all you play is AH then you should buy something from the 9700 or 9800 ATI series. But then again the only video cards that I have had in my computer since 3Dfx died have been nVidia based so call me biased until I put an ATI card in my computer.
