Yep, I think as soon as I need something new (or can convince myself I need it (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)) I'll buy this thing too.

Exciting news! Except for the all metal construction. I handled a prototype TQS with an aluminum handle before they constructed them with plastic. Let me say, it was COLD! Uncomfortably so. Hope they modify the hand grip part back to plastic to make it comfortable to use. The metal base, however, is a long overdue and much anticipated feature.

I cancelled my order for the X36 today - my old logitech Wigman Interceptor will suffice to that thing comes out. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

For you TM users who just can't wait for the new setup, the Stickworks digital chips will breathe new life into your old flcs/tqs setup. I installed them about 5 months ago, easy to install and astonishing results.

Copy that...been using the digital chips for over a year now and love 'em. Especially nice is the fact that they do away with the keyboard and mouse cables. Looks like the Win2k drivers are gonna be out shortly too (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

BTW...You can buy 'em at http://www.fscentral.com/thrusf22digu.html (http://www.fscentral.com/thrusf22digu.html)

I've had the digital chips in my F22Pro/TQS for quite a while as well.
The HOTAS 2000 will be the thing that replaces my current setup.

If the stick is too cold, you can wear gloves. Even more realistic! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Seriously, I am fed up with the crappy plastic junk out there...a metal set will last a lot longer, plus this set is even more precise than the MS Sidewinder series.
