Recently I went to Fort Wayne, Indiana for a weekend vacation with my folks. My mother took a lot of pics and I uploaded them on the net.
So enjoy.

I'll upload one more gallery sometime tomorrow.
But right now I want to tell you about this cool animal sancurtary we visited. Its close to Auburn Indiana. Its a non profit thing and I will tell ya, I had a real blast. My folks and I stayed there until it closed and we went to a feeding tour for a buck extra. Anyway I'm getting way ahead here.
I had a most exciting experince while checking out the big cats. I love big cats as much as birds of prey and dinosaurs. Anyway while wheeling pass a bengal tiger cage (well not really more like good sized hut) which *I* thought it was empty. All of the sudden, I can't explain it but I felt there was 2 eyes were on me. I then heard my mother in a excited way called out my name. I turned my head and saw a tiger stalking me very slowly. She didn't make a sound. She looked directly in my eyes. I turned toward her very slowly, trying not make any sudden moves, I then very slowly wheeled toward her. As I was doing this, she didn't move but still was looking directly in my eyes and soul.
I tell you what, feeling her power was very awesome experince. As I came closer the cage her body behavior changed to being scared. She immediately backed away and went into her hut house. My heart sunk. That was a very first time ever that a animal got scared of my chair and me. Then keeper walked passed and asked us if "India" (the tigers name) didn't come out. My folks explained what happened and the keeper responded that they think something happened years ago before they got her that made her scared of wheelchairs. My heart sunk even more. I felt very bad and still am. But I knew I had an awesome experince of "India" looking directly at my eyes and I will not forget her.
During this, I wasn't scared. I think India knew I wasn't too. Because of her staring at me for the longest time. Its hard to explain guys. You could say that India captured my soul in a way. :)

Nice pics Falcon.
Is "Old Fort Wayne" still there? About 15 years ago I visited Fort Wayne (actually was being recruited by a company in Merkle). Old Fort Wayne was pretty cool. There were people re-enacting the historical era (1812ish). One lady asked me where I came from. I said California.. She looked at me with this questioning face and said "you don't look Spanish?"

I don't think so Midnight. During my research of things to do before the trip, I saw nothing about fort renacting. Bummer I would loved that greatly.
Anyway, glad you liked the galleries. I got two more sets to do. An small air museum and a cool Auburn car museum. Hopefully you will see one up later today.

Falcon, as being a person who loves Animals, and knows their behavior, I'd like to give my thought on what India was saying/thinking..
In the picture she dosn't seem to be hunting, but that pictures shows me that India is worried or sad about something, perhaps she felt something of your feelings, or she was worried about the chair, of course, only you can tell what she was trying to say, or do...
Awesome pics, thanks man!
I hate to think of animals being abused...

Well from the keeper told us. she did the same thing with another chair bound person a year ago. When that person came close, she hid inside of her hut/cage.
So something happened to her with a chair. I wish I could of talk to her though. Saying that I'm not going to hurt her and tell her that she's a beautiful tiger.
When we locked eyes, it was very spirital IMHO.
