Pretty much final. All thats left is some tweaking. I'm thinking of doing a more weathered version, but Im not sure. The JPEGs are of horrible quality, so sorry.

Ive decided to go back and completely redo the paint chipping and walkway. I dont like the way it looks at all.

Here is the redone SPIT5SD.bmp. I used some of Greebo's tips and made many little scratches that you cant see because of JPEG. I also redid the paint chips to make them look better.

Which one is like better, first or second? Comments and opinions always helpful!

Did you get the data from this site?

Just thought I would pass it along. It does appear to be painted in standard RAF colors which I beleive is the case.

I dig
United, can your vid card support antialiasing without choking? I'd like to see a screenie without jaggies :)

Great looking skin as usual, United! :)

Im pretty sure it can (GF FX5200), but it appears so bad because of the JPEG. It looks much better in a bitmap.
Yes Squire, that is where I got my reference. Its the only place I could find any information on this one. Also, if you all want to use this one, do I send it to HTC or to someone else?
Im also planning on making another version of a Russian Spit once this one is comlpeted.

You send it to HTC, there is a sticky post on submitting them. Thanks.

Posted at the Skin Department (http://www.ah-skins.com) and submitted to HTC for those interested.

Many spitfires I have researched have the black line there and solid. Here are a few pics of different spitfires with the black line.
