In the forums, many people crank out many posts, some are whines and ego- fueled complaints, but many (if not most) are filled with ideas and suggestions.  The respective author's goal is to improve AH.  That's why we have a general discussion board (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).

AH is a fine sim in that nothing is set in stone... the good ship AH has no set course.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/cool.gif)  Many of the things that makes AH so great come from the users in these forums. (although much credit is due to HTC (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif))

What I'm getting at is that while there are many good ideas, for each one there were many more ideas that were less than perfect.  If you're not terribly fond of someone's suggestion, don't grill them for it by responding with posts filled with sarcasm, or claim that the suggestion or idea was "the crappiest idea I ever heard".

These types of responses turn people off from making more suggestions, or even worse, from AH altogether (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif).  Fewer suggestions equates to fewer good suggestions.  The community is key, the community makes it fun! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I agree, community is what makes game even more interesting. (no, i don't mean those 'fishu hunt club' talks)

I totally agree. Even if you think a guy has come up with the stupiest idea on earth, try to put yourself in his place, - what is his background for comming up with such a stupid idea?, maybe it is reasonable from his point of view.
And maybe sometimes the idea is actually fantastic, even if it sounds stupid the first time.

Giving out crazy, even idiotic ideas is widely used in the most productive teams all over the world.. Its so common that it even has a name: Brainstorming.

A UBB without ideas is like a clean workdesk - a sign of the lack of creativeness.

Nuttz, I think he means pilot wounded, if the pilot in the bomber is wounded the whole crew suffers the blackouts and stuff.
