Only someone with no knowledge of a chicken could say they can be abused.  They are so frickin stupid that letting them live is the only abuse possible.

We as the beings on the top of the Global food chain have the right to eat anything we want that won't poison us....The animals were put here for us to use for Food and Clothing..I have no feelings for animals raised for food...Wait..maybe I do..I appreciate the effort they put into tasting so good.
