Wrong (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) you loose the jet trivia (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

sound familiar no ?
and the car in front (the black one is french) a twingo obviously and I don't thing any american will buy such a little car (from 1 to 1.2 liter (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif))
-
Ok - what actually gives it away more is the height of the wings relative to the fuselage.
And yeah, I saw the Euro cars before... but it didn't look like it had the delta wing.
::hats off::
-
I got myself a twingo for some time it's like a beetle (no hp but lot of fun).
What's impersive with this car is what your can put inside personnal record : 4 basket player (average 1.85m) + their bags (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
have a look to the power of this car : http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/2090/specs.htm (http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/2090/specs.htm)

Gets almost 40 miles per gallon.
At $1.50 a gallon here, and a 10 gallon tank, I can go 400 miles on $15 worth of gas.
Saturn's are probably the most economic car in America, and pretty to boot! Paid 3k for mine and I love it. (replaced the car below)

ok let try the convertions functions (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
1 mile = 1.609 kilometer
so 400 miles = 643.6 km
My car suck 8 liter/100Km (optimals consomation at an average 130kmh/81mph)
so (643.6*8)/100 = 51.488 liter for 643.6 km.
Gasoline cost is 6.39FRF/liter cost for 400 miles is : 329 FRF
Oups I've to convert in USD 7.198 FRF per $
329/7.198 = 45.7 $
Interesting we have the quite the same cost !
But I will be first (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) if I recall good your speed limit is 70mph no ?
btw my car is a Megane Renaut :
not the best car but at least I can pay it (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

There is no national speed limit in the USA. You will find it varies from state to state with 55-65 in city very common and up to 85 in the countryside. Montana for a time had no speed limit at all... is that still the case?
-
Not sure about the Montana stuff Sancho, I'm pretty sure they instilled one by now.
If I remember right what happened was the US govt. let go of control or something to the states to decide a speed limit or let them govern their own roads...
Montana (bunch of sheep herders) simply forgot to hold a town meeting for the 10 people in the state and never decided a speed limit by x date, and thus a speed limit was never implemented. Think they had to wait until after the hunting season to have another campfire talk about the whole deal.

I don't think anybody actually lives in Montana. Have you ever met anybody from Montana?? If somebody says he's from Montana, he's FBI as far as I'm concerned. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

"I would have liked to have seen Montana"
Name the movie. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) Should be an easy one.

Good call - I thought the XO (Alan Grant in Jurrasic Park, can't remember the guys name)was great in that one.
-
um... I'm (was) from Wyoming... that is even more chimerical, I would think.
But we have a speed limit... 75 in school zones.
