I know that it may not be possible or it may sound like a bad idea but....
I keep thinking of the people we have lost in WB and now in AH and I can't help but think there has to be some way we can remember them.
I was thinking maybe have our own wall with the names of all the fallen on it. Maybe have it at the volcano so all that go by can see it and remember or maybe learn of some of these great guys that we have lost.
It's just a thought...kinda depressed about the whole thing.

Good Idea. I like it. I've lost a good buddy from AW a couple years ago(Thmpr)and have also read some great stuff from a guy I learned later had already passed a few years before. If anyone has a copy of "And I go diving down!" and the ones that followed, I would appreciate it if they posted it here. Its truly funny and reminds me that alas, the good do die young.<S!> my friends!

I remember when Dinger from Combatsim's EAW forum died. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif) Some of us sent money to one of the forum members and he donated it to the RAF Museum in London.
Dinger didn't say it outright, but it seems he was in the SAS in the Gulf War and whatever chemical/bio agent he was exposed to, it got his liver in the end. He liked to talk about Mosquitos, as his Grandfather had been ground crew for them during the war.
Dinger left a wife and infant behind when he left on his final mission... (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)
<S> Dinger!!!

Assuming by lost you mean well in Fighter Pilot's Heaven, I think that's a cool idea.
But not in the volcano. Add their names (randomly?) to areas that recieve a lot of traffice. The tower and the CV maybe? In WB the name's of the creators were placed on cubby holes in the tower with something in the cubby hole. Maybe do something similiar to that? I think it would be neat and a good way to remember 'em as our fellow virtual fighter pilots if their names were placed in the tower with some small form of a memoribilia. Only their squad mates or guy's that knew them closely could give us ideas as to what they liked.
It would be kinda like coming back from a mission(in RL) where you just lost a buddy and you see his footlocker.
Or maybe even place their names on the inside of the hangar walls in a color easy to view?
Just ideas.
