Title: Road bug?
Post by: kanttori on September 10, 2004, 05:26:16 PM
Hello!

I think you have noticed this, but I write it still here:

After placing roads the "Randomize" is not working on those textures which have them: textures are "unrandom" and there are bad looking repetition on those tiles.

Textures are looking like they are "randomized", but after building the map they are not. When you close editor and open it next time the tiles are not the same than before saving/closing!

Is this a known bug?

It must be a bug, Heres the work around I use...

change the tile/tiles to water, then change them to what you want them to be. Thats the only way I can place the tiles in the new editor.

Randomize them before you place the roads them close the editor and change the .SYP file to read only.

What file is the road/railway net -file? I have placed much roads and I think I must remove the roadnet away at first, because your indstructions didn't help with placed roads.:(
