Naturally my Genectics makes me a huskers fan from the word go! I'm really interested in seeing this new offense.
I heard the best analagy the other day.

They are playing Southern Mississippi at 11 am central time I believe. It's televised on ABC also.
I was born 2.8 miles from Memorial Stadium, I grew up in Lincoln but now live in Denver.

didnt southern miss beat them last year for the first time in 50 years? If it wasnt them or last year who was in and when....you should know what I'm talking about.

They beat Southern Miss last year. You are probably thinking of Missouri who hadnt beaten Nebraska since the late 70's I think.

Actually it reinforces the point that Nebraska farmers know nothing about COTTON because we cant even spell it.
Kinda like the Nebraska passing game is expected to be.

They will work those kinks out. The Husker QB is a true sophmore and today was only his second start ever. Compound that with a new and VERY complex offense and you are going to see mistakes made. (NU's playbook wieghs 8 lbs)
Interesting to note that the Huskers had 476 yards of total offense and their opponent had 239 yards of total offense. First downs NU 26, SM 11. The difference in this ball game was turnovers. SM scored 18 of their 21 points off of NU turnovers.
Special teams showed a marked improvement over last week. Give that young qb some time and the Huskers will be a terror on the gridiron again :)
Imo they are doing very well considering they have an entirely new coaching staff, an entirely new offensive scheme and minor changes to the defensive philosophy.

Yes they did well....Actually I was impressed with such a turn around from the same ole drab run it left run it right run it up the middle.
They have a lot to look forward to in the next couple years.
Horns are up right now in Ark. But...who knows.:lol

heh I was so excited about getting to watch the new offense that I didnt sleep last night :rofl I slept for about 4 hours AFTER the game was over :D

chuck I make it a point to put the E in there but sometimes I get fired up and typing and just miss it.
I never claim to be a good speller :D But at least I make my points in a fair and balenced way ;) lol

LOL, I know bud. Heck, I've made my share of typos as well. :)
