Love the Taruntul...by far one of the best looking Patrol ships ever made..great looking model

RC boats are cool and all but when you run out of juice/gass (depending on how they are powered) there's only one way to go getem.
most planes at least gan glide to a safe landing. The RC Nitro car that I have just stops when the gas runs out.

I remember seeing a programme about this (HMS Invincible):

The controller can even sit inside it and control it! :)

Yeah, I noticed that, I'm sure the Swordfish represents the Royal Navy Historic Flight. He's also included a land based Sea King (aft) and a Merlin which are not usually based on a carrier. No RAF Harrier GR7s either.
Either way, very impressive... not only can you control it but ride in it if you wish! :)

Also this HMS Fearless which has a working landing craft. They RC a pump flooding the boat which 'sinks' it a little. The landing craft then exits the rear doors and works as a seperate RC landing craft. Aboard the landing craft are RC vehicles! I think they were also working on a RC Sea King helicopter to land on the back of the ship!

Yeah, I've seen them on a Discovery Home & Leisure programme; kinda neat.

LOL, I noticed the same thing straight up too.......interesting propulsion system anyway :)
Imagine the full size version under full fart, you have to pity any sonar operator hearing one coming eh?
"Sir!...we have an enemy patrol boat coming this way.....and the crew seems to be well fed!"
"Pass out the gas masks number two, this could get ugly"
