Well. i tried Sound packs.... No one really tried my sound pack... And i really wanted to give up. but some people(only about 4) tried my sound pack and really enjoyed it. My sounds arent the real sounds. But they are based on them.  I try to stay away from perfectly real sound's because then it would be so boring. And besides this game is not a flight simulator. its like a arcade game. Im not saying my Sound's are arcady. But If you just wanna go in to the Aces High and hear loud explosions and have fun. Then i recommend you try my sound pack.  Link should be up Later on today or Tommorow.  <> To all.

This game has more realistic FM's than Il-2 Sturmovik (note that I didn't say more detailed).

I know what you're trying to say --- But this is definately more of a sim.

BTW, I liked your pack. Had some good stuff in it.

Not many people give my packs a chance, either. 'Tis a shame.

I have dial up and it takes a few hours to download one of these soundpacks. I would try more but I already have mitsus and Im too impatient to wait for it to download. When I get DSL Ill try more soundpacks.

Spade I'm sure your sound pack is great and even though I haven't downloaded it myself I'd like to say thanks for your time and effort.  It's not that folks don't appreciate the things folks do here for the community to make the game better.  

As Raptor has said some only have dial up and it takes forever for them.  Also not many folks know the sound packs are out there.  Then there is also folks who really don't care for anything new.  

I myself just ran across Waffles and chose to download it.  I used Mitsus prior to that also.  Try making a short sound clip of your files so folks can preview them.  That may help you out some.  Again though your effort hasn't gone unnoticed by the community that visits this board.  I can assure you any effort you make is greatly appreciated..

All you guys with slow connections, why don't you just leave your system on during the night?  It took me 13 hours to download Waffle's at a blistering 2.9 kps.  It's fun to live out in the woods.

thats what i usually do for big downloads like that, but it usually slips my mind and i dont feel like messing with it these late hours (1:30am now... usually dont look at bbs til around 2 or 3)

great sound pack! where did you get the p38 eng? its really good.
