Great pic Rip! One day they'll realize that American football is a man's game(lol).
:lol

hey rip.. footballers dont wear body armour (apart from shinpads).
I think you would want to protect your nuts from someone booting a piece of leather at you upwards of 70 mph from 10 yards away too!

I actually think that the guys with the biggest balls are Rugby players. I watched a match here in the states once and a guy just came up behind another and sucker punched him. I asked someone if that was a foul and he said the guy was probably paying the other player back for the same thing.

I think it's pretty funny that in America a game we call Football is so different from another game the rest of the world call Football, and everyone loves their version :D
-
The biggest difference is just look at how many kids go out and try out for football between ages 7 and 18. Now compare that to how many kids try out for soccer in the same age group.
Everyone plays soccer, even girls.
Only tough guys play real American football. So dangerous you HAVE to have padding, or you'd be killed.

Football? American, rugby, soccer etc is for girlie men. You want a real man's game Gaelic football.
or better still hurling
30 Irishmen with sticks and hard leather balls. Helmets optional.
That's dangerous:eek:

Aussie Football makes them all look like pansies!

I thought hurling was what I used to do at the Porcelain Altar when I used to partake of alcholic beverages......thats a sport in Ireland? :D
-
Hurling, Yeah Elfie before during and particularly after the match when your team wins the All Ireland final. Not just a sport but the national sport. :aok All Gaelic Athletic Association clubs have very well appointed bars. :rofl

Ive been "Officially" HIJACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
Here is a quote from my ol football coach.
"Soccer is a contact sport, Football well, football is a collision sport."
I asked "what about rugby"?
"Rugby is a bunch of dumb guys that got the 2 sports confused"
:D

on a side note, there has been a lot of speculation that England's star rugby player may switch to NFL.
