ok lots of ppl wanna know what your fave plane's are...
I want to know which planes you dread seeing coming towards you.
i personaly hate to see a p-38
i hope the people who arent interested in answering this Dont bother this time :)
-
i dont avoid any plane...
its the man not the machine...
-
When I end up low and slow in a turning fight the last thing I want to see is a Hurri IIc or a Zeke.
At that point I hope help is nearby :)

I phear all planes.
:)
-
The La-7, followed by the Typhoon when I am in a Mosquito.
When I am in an Fw190A-5 nothing particularly stands out as being dreaded. A higher Spitfire maybe.
I expect I'll feel pretty much the same as I do in the 190A-5 when I'm in the Ki-84.
-
Karnak, I'm tired of imagining. Where is the Ki-84 Hangar?
Let me fly now!!!!!
:D

The Ki-84 hangar is just down the road ... it will take you about TWO WEEKS to get there ... :D
Oh ... I phear the C-47 ... it's a monster.
-
Well Mitsu, it looks like there was some experimentation while putting the hangar up and it has been delayed a bit.
I am very interested to see how it performs. Hopefully it will attempt to model a production Ki-84 and hopefully we'll find out not too long in the future. Maybe in two or three weeks.
-
I hate them all.
I'd much rather see them going away from me....
...preferably within gun range.
-
Yaks and Spit 5s...
blasted Yaks.
-
Three sets of B17s or B26s in a close formation. I can't resist em and I usually die quickly :)
Fighters: don't rely dread meeting any of them per se. It's usually the situation that decides how much I relish or dred the next engagement.
-
Chutes have the highest K/D ratio ever. Every camp. Check the stats. Fear the chute. (And now you can collide with them. Don't ask me how I know that.)

No, man. I'm not surrendering. I'm landing kills. Put your hands in the air like you don't care. Wooo .... woooo!

Soon as I see any red icon I just yank the modem cord out.
-
The planes I engage the most in combat are P38s (because I know I can kill em quite easily) and Spits (because I phear to get em on my arse).
When a plane is on my six I definatly phear the Spits. But I dont phear them so much that I dont engage them agressivly.
A plane I tend to be much more conservative against is the N1K. I know that when I engage it the slightest butterup will result in me going down.
The most annoying is BnZing 109s and 190s. Its not that I phear them so much as one having to pay so much attention to something one cant really do much about.
LA7s I dont phear that much mostly because I know that I can always out turn them.
What I do phear though is combos. N1K+LA7, N1K+190, Spit+LA7, P38+190, ect ect. Combos where there is a good turner and a good BnZer.
I really have a hard time fighting this in my Yak because I can either outclimb, out run, out turn one of them but not the other. Outmanouvering one will get me killed by the other.

You gotta love it
-
I hate N1K2's, helicopter with a truckload of ammo that can and will be sprayed from inpossible angles.
Tiffies I don't like when they pull reversals and HO me or at least go for the front quarter shot.
The rest I don't mind... much. Combo's are deadly but how often do you get to see them?
Oh, and I once mistook a 109F for a G-10, couldn't outmaneuver nor out accelerate him in my trusted P-51B. That sucked.
-
I hate those B17 :(
They lock their tractor beam on my plane, drag me to their 6 and I get hit by fiftyeleven .50 cal machine gun bullets :(
I know I should not fly behind a B17, but allways endup right there after a few passes :rofl
When I started this game, I learned to hate the Niki, but that is because there are a few good aces flying the Niki and killing me alot.

I've been having nightmares about pairs of yaks ;)
Yeah good call Tex, combos are the hardest. Most individual planes you can have a strategy/tactic for - turn/E combos make life tough.
Not that keen on seeing hi nikis or hi spits either , they seem to be able to sniff out a low hellcat from 3 sectors away.
-
i hate LA7's
they can fly faster LEVEL than what my plane can do in a dive.......

PMSL!! :rofl

I'm ready for problems when a P-51 is coming my way. It used to be you could outturn it if you couldn't outrun it, but now 51D's are outturning my La-5 on the deck since AHII started.
I'm also wary of C.205's because it seems like the ones I encounter are flown by good sticks who know what that plane can do.

heavy bombers, and hurricanes.
lost a tempest yesterday, first pass from 9k alt above some bombers at about 430 MPH. Lancs! not even anything with a decent gun package.
I think i must have lost the knack for killing 'em, i used to rip em to shreds in a spit V, let alone a Temp.
