I don't care who you support in this election.

That picture bothers me.

Aid and comfort to our enemies in my eyes.

What do the other Americans think..I already know what the Euro's will say.

(the only thing missing is an innocent Iraqi child having his kite shot up by evil, imperialist American soldiers.)

NARRATOR: "George Bush misled us into war with Iraq, sending poorly equipped soldiers into battle. He said 'Mission Accomplished,' yet almost every day more soldiers die."

Well okay, true.

CHYRON: "Over 1,000 U.S. Soldiers Killed"

Hmm.... also true.

NARRATOR: "Going it alone, George Bush has spent $150 billion dollars, money we need for schools and health care."

Go figure... true again.

CHYRON: "$150 Billion"

.... and counting.

NARRATOR: "Now, facing a growing insurgency, he has no real plan to end the war. George Bush got us into this quagmire. It will take a new president to get us out. MoveOn PAC is responsible for the content of this advertisement."

Quagmire? Insurgency? Hmm... In light of the national intelligence report that lays out a dark view of prospects for Iraq, geesh... also true.

Go figure....

But still, I agree with ya 100%.... tasteless... not good at all.

Nash, it is not worth arguing about, but the whole premise is false.  We were not mislead into war.  If you paid attention, it was quite plain that we would intensify our already 12 war with Iraq.  The only question was when, not if.  Bush has the cojones to do it, instead of letting Saddam continue to make fools of the UN and the world, and abuse his own people.

Hmm.... also true. But far far less than anyone expected

NARRATOR: "Going it alone, George Bush has spent $150 billion dollars, money we need for schools and health care."

Go figure... true again.Ummm...no we are not going at it alone.  The countries that didnt want anything to do with this had thier hands dirty in arms sales and oil for food scandles (russia and france)  That money also includes afganistan as well....it doesnt quite mention that fact

CHYRON: "$150 Billion"

Yet we've thrown equal if not greater amounts at education and health care but money never fixes it

.... and counting.

I think it's in order to lull me into a false sense of security.

ahem, CANADA did not have anything to do with it,

and you were misled into the iraq war, if you were not...a majority of the population wouldn't think the war had something to do with 9/11 and terrorism.

Poorly equipped soldiers...are they friggin kidding me?

And even if they were, perhaps they should ask Senator Kerry who voted for the $87 Billion...before he voted against it.

And if this tool had his way, our boys would be fighting with as Zell Miller put it...Spitballs.

In the immortal words of Bill Murray in the classic cinematic tour du force, "Meatballs"

"It just does'nt matter"

I don't particularly care.  Moveon has already painted themselves as fools, and if there is anyone who hasn't noticed that yet, this ad should help.

sorry forgot you guys counted.  But to say we went at it alone is just as stupid.

Imagine june 5th 2006.  Terrorists sneak in a massive biochem weapon and release it in montreal or new york or toronto or madrid or what ever....if your not arab you are a target.

Imagine if they had got it from Sadam very eager to destroy the US.

Sadam may have not had his hands dirty in 9/11 but if you think he wasn't involved in terrorism you need to get your eyes and ears checked.

Which is all made irrelevant by the Bush administration when they proposed and voted for this...

"  2.       Decides, while acknowledging paragraph 1 above, to afford Iraq, by this resolution, a final opportunity to comply with its disarmament obligations under relevant resolutions of the Council; and accordingly decides to set up an enhanced inspection regime with the aim of bringing to full and verified completion the disarmament process established by resolution 687 (1991) and subsequent resolutions of the Council;"

...in the UN Security Council.

what are you telling me here??????  How are those irrelevent by the above statement?

All of this was done and Sadam still refused to comply.  How about another 14 more resolutions.

Yes the all powerfull UN has spoken.....have you heard lately what they are doing w/ the Sudan.....setting up a commitee to determine if widespread genocide and murder is actually taking place.  I guess the next step is to pass another resolution AGAIN condeming the actions.  How many millions of people have to die before somone does something??????

The UN is a joke.  It is weak political and powerless.  They cant even get AIDs releif to Africa without a political debate on how to do so and to decide wich rich warlord they are going to give the aid to.
