A suggestion....
Put instrument panel lights on night qualified planes and give us night back in the MA.
-
We don't have any night qualified planes ... they are all daytime fighters ... nor do we have night in the MA at the moment.

The Lancaster and Mosquito FB.VI we have are both night time aircraft. It's why they have the flare dampers.

We still have scenarios that run in nighttime and not having lighted instrument panels is a major pain.

We used to have nighttime in both WarBirds and Aces High. It was essential for realism and historical accuracy.
Evidently there are people now playing Aces High who think WWII was fought entirely during the daytime.
Given the current mania for historical accuracy in regard to skins, it is now only fitting that the Lancaster be removed from the game since it was used primarily as a nighttime bomber.
All Aces High airplanes used to have adequate instrument lighting for night operations, but sometime back those lights were removed for no apparent reason. Perhaps the removal of nighttime, entirely, was already scheduled.
There are some issues in regards to runway lighting and landing lights that should be resolved, but nighttime was a great part of this game for years and should be restored.
Tracers and bombs, at night, are an awesome sight and added much to the game's "eye candy."
It's too bad to see major points of realism removed from the game to satisfy a group of people who just want to furball and could care less about history and accuracy.
It puts the entire game on an "arcade" level that is beneath what it could be and was.

Well said Vega.
