It seems a small thing, but removal of the visible tail hook on carrier based aircraft severely downgraded the look of those aircraft in Aces High.
Showing an old Navy pilot the game, a few nights ago, I was embarrassed to explain to him that "we used to have tail hooks that you could see, but they took them off."
What's with that?
