Who would you want for President?
The guy that invaded two of your countries and killed tens of thousands of your fellow militant muslims in response to the terror perpetrated on America on 9/11/01...
Or:
The guy that said he wants to pull out of Iraq ASAP and be friends with the euro appeasers and the Uniformed Nations.
Yes, you already know the answer. The bigger question is who will americans choose? The Pro "get out of Iraq as soon as possible" candidate or the "get the job finbished" candidate.

The aftermath of the Iraq war aint here yet. You guys have created tens of thousands new terrorists, you havnt found any WMD, you libirated a people/country that didnt want to be libirated.
You have a president that gets away with starting a illigal war, and your citizens are fine with it, and even are fine with being lied to.
Go BUSH!

Do you choose your candidate according to one single issue?

Yeah, changing people's quotes to further the discussion is real mature as well.

No Mora.......but if you take a close look at Bush and Kerry their issues arent that different except when it comes to Iraq and National security. Yes there are some Vast differences on issues like business and healthcare but really they are both professional politicians.
I'd say the terrorists want Bush out. I would think the Arab world (not just the terrorists) see Bush as an enemy. If the American public elects Kerry, the terrorist's propaganda machine won the battle on the American home front.
Don't believe me read the (for lack of better words) Al Queada manefesto about what goals they want to accomplish. I posted it awhile ago and will look for it.

When folks who have little stake in the middle east come here and call us liars and war mongers with little to gain by doing so I suspect that person is very young. The attittudes and perceptions of the young usually change as they get older.

Here's what I was talking about earlier
To: Mullah Omar
From: Osama bin Laden
Folder: Deleted File (Recovered)
Date: October 3, 2001
...I would like to emphasise the major impact of your statements on the Islamic world. Nothing harms America more than receiving your strong response to its positions and statements ... Newspapers mentioned that a recent survey showed that seven out of every 10 Americans suffer psychological problems following the attacks on New York and Washington ... Keep in mind that America is currently facing two contradictory problems:
(a) If it refrains from responding to jihad operations, its prestige will collapse, thus forcing it to withdraw its troops abroad and restrict itself to US internal affairs. This will transform it from a major power to a third-rate power, similar to Russia.
(b) On the other hand, a campaign against Afghanistan will impose great long-term economic burdens, leading to further economic collapse, which will force America, God willing, to resort to the former Soviet Union's only option: withdrawal from Afghanistan, disintegration and contraction.
Thus our plan in the face of this campaign should focus on the following:
Serving a blow to the American economy, which will lead to:
(a) Further weakening of the American economy.
(b) Shaking the confidence in the American economy. This will lead investors to refrain from investing in America or participating in American companies, thus accelerating the fall of the American economy...
Conducting a media campaign to fight the enemy's publicity. The campaign should focus on the following important points:
Attempt to cause a rift between the American people and their government, by demonstrating the following to the Americans:
That the US Government will lead them into further losses of money and lives.
That the Government is sacrificing the people to serve the interests of the rich, particularly the Jews.
That the Government is leading them to the war front to protect Israel and its security.
America should withdraw from the current battle between Muslims and Jews.
This plan aims to create pressure from the American people on their Government to stop its campaign against Afghanistan, on the grounds that the campaign will cause major losses to the American people...
Peace upon you and God's mercy and blessings.
Your brother,
Osama Bin Mohammed Bin Laden

It might be if you included a source. That is... unless Bin Laden is in the habit of typing memos in English.

Were I a Muslim terrorist, I'd go for Bush. Because of Iraq, there are generations of new recruits ready to join the cause.

Sorry. JUST NOW, I riped and pasted from freerepublic.com.....
I know I know not a valid source. It was orriginally posted on this board a while ago and I'm still looking for a valid link.
The story behind it is a couple of reporters bought some AQ computers from a guy that stole them during the fall of kabul.
These were basic AQ office computers that were used extensivly in communications, corispondence, budgeting, and planning of AQ operations.
These reporters turned them over to the FBI but only after copying them first. They spent months translating and interpreting messages and such.
Edit:
Here's all I can find so far....this isnt even the whole thing that I remember reading

Okay... seems like the plan failed. Afghanistan hasn't been nearly the burden that Iraq has been.

I think ya got a case of tunnle vision there my friend. Yup agree with you in part the plan failed...BUT these were written pre-iraq. If I were a plottin man I would see what worked and what didn't and try again. If you apply their logic/plan to Iraq IMHO it seems that it's working just fine. America is indeed divided.
-
a(n) illigal war
can this be explained to me?
-
You can expect more muslim terror violance in Iraq and elsewhere, quite possibly in the US as well.....(day care, elementary schools, Jr High schools...High schools?...sure why the hell not) as OBL and AQ try to get Bush delected and put a stupid and ignorant kerry in charge LOL. All kerry will do is pull the UN donkey cart full of euroweezers up and down penn ave in open defiance of America
You are not operating on a full deck if you think OBL and AQ want Bush re-elected. He has proven he will attack and destroy...these idiot muslim terrorfreaks do not want someone to fight (Bush), they want someone to terrorize (Kerry).
A vote for kerry is a vote in support of terror.

No argument here. Imagine if the invasion of Iraq did not occur. Do you think our occupation of Afghanistan would be a serious election issue. I rather doubt it.
Who knows... maybe OBL saw Iraq on the horizon but was smart enough not to comment on it directly. I rather doubt it. From what I've read, OBL strikes me as a man with a head full of rage, a fat wallet, and a tiny mind. The 911 attacks were bad, but largely symbolic in comparison to what he could have done given the time and resources to plan an attack. If the guy had a clue the death toll would have been ten to one hundred times worse.

Yup. I do find it interesting though that in this article it talks about one of the secondary objectives of 911 was to unite the AQ cells. The full article talks alot about inner cell squableing and bickering, especially over money.
It's hard to say what the world would be like today w/o the invasion of Iraq. More/Less terrorism? who can tell.
Worst case scenerio....Sadam develops nerve gass....gives it to AQ and it gets used somwere.
Best case.....terrorism kinda wanes itself out and we go back to arguing about domestic issues.
Who knows

Yeager I know you prefer Bush to Kerry and I know you would prefer most Americans to believe that the terrorists would prefer Kerry. So they'll vote for Bush.
But you're wrong. The terrorists don't care who is president. On September the 11th the didn't attack Bush. They attacked America. They also attacked American and western European values and the concept of liberal democracy and freedom. That is what they want to destroy. It's irrelevant to them who is president of the United States. Since September 11th they've attacked everywhere but America. They hit Spain, Kenya, Indonesia, Bali, Turkey etc and Iraq. They attack in Iraq because they want to stop Iraq becoming a pro western democracy. Thus the attack the institutions, politicans, police etc. They attack to create division and tension among America's allies. The Australian embassy in Indonesia, the British consulate in Turkey, the Madrid bombings.
In fact if the truth be told they might prefer Bush simply because his actions has if anything increased division among America's natural allies. The very last thing the terrorists want is everyone united against them. They want America isolated.
But in my opinion we'll see a very different Bush this time round. (Yes I have come to believe he will win again.) What is needed now is the whole world working together against the threat. The war on terror like most of America's wars will be fought on foreign soil. Remember in the three years since September 11th there have been no attacks on American soil.
Even though you apparently despise the Euros and everyone else. Short sighted xenophobia like that won't help. America can't do it alone and anyway the front line of the war is outside America and it won't be won by military means only. Whoever is elected knows this.

How about....
3) They don't like any leader the US citizen votes in. They couldn't care less who wins. They didn't like Clinton, they don't like Bush, they'll not like Kerry (if elected). BTW, the job will never be finished in Iraq. We bit off more than we could chew.
