Well I don't think I'll be a lot online this weekend, but still maybe I'll do a couple of sorties and I dont want anybody to think I am a silent stupid.
Today I had a quite serious car crash. Has been a hellish wind and raining day here and I was just returning from Santander and my car lost adherence on the after wheels in the middle of a Curve, in the highway. It crashed on a side and started spinning.
It turned over its vertical axis two or three times (can't recall it) and ended facing rearwards in one extreme of the highway, just at the exit of the curve. I was terrified while it happened (thought I was going to hit a concrete wall there was, but avoided it by a hair).
Only to be more terrified , seeing how VERY fast cars were coming out of the curve and just found my stopped car there and avoiding it by centimeters...
Thankfully I went out untouched, and a police patrol happened to pass there after a couple of minutes...we got the car out of the highway and from there onwards everything went better. The fact that I was quite slow when the crash happened (no more than 50 mph, maybe less) saved me (in spain the highest speed level is at 120Km/h, and I was going at some 80-90Km/h). I shiver when I think what could have happened if I had gone faster.
Dont worry about me I am quite OK phisically...not so my car (neither my nerves). But I want a bit of relax now and if I go online will be for a couple of sorties only...I'm not on the mood to talk, frankly.
Thanks for your understanding. I hope that tomorrow I'll feel better, for now I am going to take some sleep.

A coinsedence:
Friend drives a 18 wheeler and today afternoon he had a crash in a ring 3 of Helsinki. Lights went yellow and some stupid driver jumped to his brakepedal but didnt notice there were two heavy trucks behind him/her. First could stop before that small car but friend got 30000kg load and he couldnt stop his truck in time. Whole cockpit moved back about half meter when he crashed in back of other truck but nothing else didnt happen.
Nice to know you're both okay (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

God, I can only imagine what that car did and how it ended up. I'm glad your ok, as it sounds like you could have been killed. And, unlike AH, there ain't no respawns. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

RAM,
That's what happens when you line up other cars for a gunnery pass!!! The FE and aerodynamics are not the same!! You need to adjust!! Automobiles do not have a vertical direction on command!! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) They are limited by the contours of the road!
Be more careful next time!!!! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Glad you're OK. Been there too. Get yourself to an osteopath ASAP before some of your muscles lock.

Eeeeek!
Man, sounds like a close call!
Glad to hear you're ok, and also glad that you're smart enough not to drive at full speed limit when the weather is not allowing it.
Such experiences make you think, no?
Take care

Thanks a lot everyone...was a very frightening experience, indeed.
Thankfully I am feeling a bit better now...I am still feeling like "on a cloud", I mean, I feel strange...maybe because I know I have been a hair off being killed, and I still can't assimilate it.
Anyway as I said, thanks a lot for your kind words. I will fly a bit tonight, again.(already have done it this afternoon).

I wont comment about that individual again, nor about his tasteless comments online.
You all know what do I think about him. And that thinking is stronger now than ever.
