Title: Skin Confirmations?
Post by: Cobra412 on September 20, 2004, 02:22:35 PM: I'm curious if anyone has received any "skin has been received" confirmations lately. I've sent one in and still have yet to hear back about it being received. I'm sure HTC is buried under their work. I'd just like to find out to see if I have to resend the files is all. Thanks in advance.

Post by: nopoop on September 20, 2004, 07:36:16 PM: I have only heard from them twice. Once when I didn't supply some historical notes and the other because my info turned out to be incorrect. Both came to me the day after submittal. Usually two or three weeks before your mail is acknowleged if you have everything correct. So if you don't hear anything...that's good :D

I had four or so submittals that spanned a couple of months and after acknowlegement never heard a word. Then they came out with the skin thing and all four were approved the same day.

...they have a shelf...waaaay back in the bowels of the office..

Skuzzy's got a collection there :) But he checks them out before being put on that dank...dark...shelf..

No news is good news ;)

least they're busy with updates and all their time is not spent waiting on a skin to show up just so they can approve it.

Post by: Krusty on September 21, 2004, 12:22:04 PM: Took me over a month to hear back from 2 I submitted not too far from each other.

However, when I *DID* hear back it was that they needed more work (lol) and thus I missed the big release a while back.

Fixed 'em, resubmitted 'em, but it's been a while (and it will be longer yet)

Post by: Kev367th on September 22, 2004, 07:35:08 PM: Just got another two skin received confirmations today. Seems like it is taking around 4 weeks at the moment, unless they do them in a batch when new skin releases are imminent (fingers crossed).
