I am getting SICK and TIRED of an All-Star team made up of overpaid, out of shape, pampered atheletes disgracing the United States of America in International Sports competition.
The American Ryders' Cup team, heavily favored, lost to the Euros by an astounding TEN points, which is a rout in Golf. Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and the rest of those Bling Bling Gangsta Rapper Wannabees who made up our Squad have lost me as a fan- I am through with Golf. I won't spend another nickel on inflated Greens Fees again, nor will I ever watch Golf on the television again.
And I DAMN sure won't buy any of their rap albums either.

How many Olympic games did the US mens basketball team lose before this year in all of the modern games? Was it maybe 2?
Stop playing with words MT, this years team was an awfully unsuccesful one. We should be looking at ways to fix the team not to make excuses for the selfish young players..

This is not correct. The American Team has been heavily favored the last 10 Ryder cups if not more...Possibly ALWAYS heavily favored.
The American Team has always had the highest rankings on the average of players. They have had more Major Tournament winners. More money won. More Stars. More Talented players. This until the last few Ryder Cups.
In the late 80's early 90's the Euro's came into thier own. They had 5 or 6 players that were at that time the cream of the European Tour. Sandy Lyle , Seve Ballesteros , Nick Faldo , Ian Woosnam , Bernhard Langer , Jose Maria Olazabal just to name a few. These guys were the heart of the Ryder cup team. They basically played every match just about because the next guy in line on thier team wasn't in the same class as these 6 guys were. At least so they thought. ;)
The American teams on the other hand were deeper than the Euro's every year. This until recently. You have players on the Euro side now that are HIGHLY ranked in the Sony World rankings. The have depth now that matches the American team. They have what the American team doesnt. That is a sense of being a team.
This is because they play here in the US as well as Europe. Darren Clark , Sergio Garcia , Colin Montgomerie , Lee Westwood have ALL played alot on the US tour.
The Euro's play for lots of money as does the US but it's still not on the same scale as the US. The Euro's spend more time together outside of golf. Thier families spend time together outside of golf. They travel and everything together. This makes them much more compatable as a team unit than the US.
The Euro's are a TEAM...The Americans are 12 corperations. They don't have the team work that they have. They dont spend the same time together as they do. Nothing here is as hard as it is over there for the US players. The US players are very spoiled IMO. AT least the TOP players are. The US team that represented this country in this last Ryder Cup was sickening to say the least. Spoiled and Rich and gleaming with that attitude of " I am the Best and you should just quit now before I thrash you" Guess they found out different.
ANYONE that watched the entire Ryder Cup could see the difference in the actions of each player for the US as opposed to the Euro's was huge. The EURO's WANTED to win. The Americans...just expected them to laydown so they could win. Then when the figured out they were serious...it was to late and they were to far behind.
The Euro's just FLAT OUT PLAYED THE ENTIRE US TEAM....TIGER "I AM GOD" WOODS included. His record alone is a Joke in Ryder Cup competetion compared to the rest of his resume'
YES the Americans wanted to win. Yes it was important. But not to the extent that it is to the Euro's. They are always the underdog. They will not be as big now or in the future I would hope...But then again the arrogance that these American players can show....Who knows.
I predicted a win by the Euro's to all my golf buds. They said I was crazy.....NOW...I have their Money to buy new Golf Balls and a New Wedge with. :rofl
