Post by: SFRT - Frenchy on September 21, 2004, 01:48:03 PM
Just went to pick up the Tomato yesterday! :D :D

New bodywork/paint and interior/suspensions.
Left to be done:
- remove the 302 drop a 351W 580HP
- Install air suspensions/ perf brakes.
- Trany work
- restore AC
- tires/ fancy rims

The Pontiac is doing fine, but still has a long way to go:
emblems, whell caps, trim rings
complete interior
brakes & suspensions
AC

Nice Bird, what's in it? I'd still like to pick up a 69' T/A or a 73' SD T/A but I don't see that happening anytime soon so I'm just gonna try and find a 69' Judge RAIV.

As the current owner of a 351W, I'd like to know how you intend to get 580HP (FW or RW?) out of it.

As much as he's fixed those cars, I'd bet he'll find a way. :)

Edbert, I'll give you the specs of the 351W when we'll get there. Balanced, the engine cost us a lil above 7k. We have a friend that's taking care of the build up.

Oh and guys, don't get the wrong ideas, I don't do all this work by myself, I get a lot of help from people who know.

Nice cars.  I thought "ew... a Torino"... but it actually came out pretty nice.  Excellent work on the vinyl top.  The firebirds are just plain cool.  Both are too much of a car for a limp wristed frog to be driving around though... you'd better go see lazs and have him explain how wearing a gun while naked out in the desert will make you more of a man.

Oh...

FIX THE DAMN PASSENGER HEADLIGHT ON THE F-BIRD!

Maybe he's talking about a hopped up crate engine?

I dunno a whole lot about American cars... but my father is a Corvette nut and the magazines he's got around his house are always advertising built 350's and such putting out far more than stock power.
