And the Crowd goes wild!!!!!
No doubt he will win. Good or bad, that will be the result.
Cant belive they fielded Kerry against Bush. Idiots. They should have gone with Clark.
-
Clark is more of a kook then Kerry...
It would stand to reason that if a Euro is going to offer an opinion about who should run for the US presidency they should at least know something about the person they are talking about.
Dean was by far the best candidate the Dems had and they panicked because they didn’t think he was electable. He may not have been but he was a complete contrast to Bush and for the most part to Kerry on various issues.
Dean was the "anti-war candidate" and much more exciting to watch then Kerry. He was a kook but a principled kook who seemed to have an actual belief system based on conviction rather then simply "getting elected".
The problem with both Clark and Kerry is that they appeared to flip flop at every opportunity especially in regards to the Iraq war. Clark also had current baggage from his military service.
Add all this to the fact that Clark is political novice and stumbled badly during the primaries I find it hard to believe he would be in any better shape then Kerry at this point. In fact one could argue that if Clark were the Dems choice Bush would be even further ahead.
-
Perhaps.
You would know better. I liked what Clark had to say, i might have missed the flip-flop stuff...
As for Kerry, im starting to dislike him more than Bush.

same here, I find Kerry just doesn't get it, errr how can I say this, he has no presence(hope this is correct)......
I wanted Clark, but since I'm not an American, my vote doesn't count:D
-
Clark has said some terribly ignorant and stupid things these past few months. He lost all credibility to me once he sold out to support the kerry campaign. There are no great leaders left. At least none that WANT to lead.
-
wish Powell would run, then Bush would have no hope whatsoever.....
-
Ya, Powell would be Great.

unfortunatly, I don't think he's ever gonna run, too much finger pointing in the prez. races
-
The Democratic party really is a joke. I kinda though there would be some housecleaning and reworking after the Gore defeat, but they can still screw up a wet dream. They are not even in the same league as the Republicans where pure politics is concerend.

It truly is sad that we have a league of morons to "represent" us.
And it's truly sad that Republicans have a league of bastards to represent them.

Great post.

What do you expect from people who embrace M. Moore and the rest of that disgrace? Proof possitive that pretentious arrogance does not mean victory.

Came across this Colin Powell in four-letter neo-con 'crazies' row (http://observer.guardian.co.uk/iraq/story/0,12239,1302836,00.html)
A furious row has broken out over claims in a new book by BBC broadcaster James Naughtie that US Secretary of State Colin Powell described neo-conservatives in the Bush administration as '****ing crazies' during the build-up to war in Iraq.
Powell's extraordinary outburst is alleged to have taken place during a telephone conversation with Foreign Secretary Jack Straw. The two became close friends during the intense negotiations in the summer of 2002 to build an international coalition for intervention via the United Nations. The 'crazies' are said to be Vice-President Dick Cheney, Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and his deputy, Paul Wolfowitz.
He seems to have his finger on the pulse :D
-
I heard about that Chortle, never knew if it was true or not, just all of a sudden we don't see Powell alot anymore.....
thats what I found funny at the time.....and I guess I was right in thinking a feud happened.....

I think it was Chris Rock on the topic of Powell NOT running
What a change of times when america is mad that a black man is NOT running for president.
-
Eh? What are you guys talking about? Kerry's gonna win, absolutely.
-
As a repulican, I felt Lieberman was the biggest threat. I have had every confidence that Bush would be re-elected once Leiberman dropped out, regardless of which whackjob the dems settled on.

Rofl!
Bush in an electoral landslide, get used to the idea.

I'm willing to say what I said in the 2000 election...it sucks to be a Repub and a Dem with the candidate and incumbent we have currently. Basically we are reaping what we sowed in the 60's. Remember the 60's? Peace, Love, Dope. Now these people are leading our country. Its a shame I'll have to plug my nose once again when I go to the polls, but hey, lesser of two evils applies.
I'm not wild about Bush, but some of the hate on this board has drawn sympathy within me to like him even more. And Skerry is definately out. Dare I say Gore would have made a better candidate than Skerry?

He seems to have his finger on the pulse :D
But according the the big Dick, "he (Powell) is kept outta the loop"
or maybe Cheney was telling another lie.
wassup with dat?

Whoever is sitting at SLO's keyboard, what have you done with my friend!?????
Please, for the love of God, return SLO to us, unharmed.

I agree with some of what Rip said, the lesser of 2 evils, but Rip my man, wouldn't Kerry be less evil then Bush:rofl
I don't know, that Kerry guy just doesn't have it in my eyes, but again it could be a bad perception due to the Media bias.
here my actual thoughts about Bush.....
I like his go in and take no watermelon attitude, I have alot of trouble with his FP(Foriegn Politics)
to my eyes as an outsider, he was wrong in the way he dealt his cards with his FP, he showed alot of inexperience with a crucial situation in hand(after 9/11).
Powell in my eyes tried to make him understand that, but the Hawks pushed him aside....BIG fuggin mistake, he would of gotten alot more credibilty with Powell(thats my biggest problem with Bush, he had a fabulous chance to use Powell's strong points)instead he choose the Hawks.
thats what I see as inexperience.
A very strong stance on Terrorism without the Iraq invasion(If only he would of listened to Powell) and with Powell on his side Bush would beat anyone hands down.
this is not a Bash Bush, so please refrain from stupid remarks
-
slo i still dotn see how any of theses terror supporting countires will listen to who UN?...there had to be Military Action
I would bet many c-notes on Libya not giving up there WMDs if Iraq didnt get turned over
again..and we have seen thsi many many times....14 UN Resolutions....How many times do You let Your Child hit your other Child?....14 times?......and you just say..oh stop being mean?
-
Bush, Kerry, or Nader.
Hmmmmm
Any chance Gary Coleman will return to the ballot?
-
if Bush wins the ameristalkers on this board will be seen openly weeping with their women...
probly the best part about a Bush win.
morons are eaily manipulated.... not so with bastards... you know where you stand with the latter. with the former.... it depends on what nutcase cult they sign on to.
