OK,

what do I do with a .sfv and associated .001, .002 ect..  files to burn them on cd/dvd in Nero?

Sounds like you have a RAR'ed or similarly packed archive.  Try WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)

PS.  And becareful downloading "warez".  They are illegal and not trustworthy.
