I just loaded it up last night. I am still early in the game, I only had about an hour to play. So far it is simply OUTSTANDING, the maps are awesome!
-
Hmmm... never heard of it... but the detail is impressive.

Da, Russian, wish my computer was fast enough for the game, cause I woulda bought it by now...
:)

Bought it beat it within 6 hours.
It doesn't look as good as the original and it has alot of the same missions(just slightly different maps) and it was waaaay to short.
About the only difference I saw was being a British gunner in a B17I.
Over all it was still worth getting.

I agree with Mighty1, worth getting but waaay to short in the single player mode.
Still a heck of alot of fun.

The screenshots of the RAF camo and marked B17E with the later version turrets and tail markings for both the 91st and 447th BGs combined made me wonder what they'd been drinking to come up with that disaster :)

The game is great. I really like it. The tanks and heavy machine guns really make the game better. It's still squad based "Day of Defeat" but with tanks it like the final battle in SPR ( the cassino map). Some maps are infantry only, some are armour dominating and some are just right with 1 or two tanks with 2/3 infanty required. I recomend it to anyone with the orginal. I haven't played the single player at all but heres a screenshot of the messed up B17s.

Multiplayer rocks, they stole the game play from the battlefield series so it is just not a big death match now.
My only problem with singleplayer is the maps are way to linear. They force you down a single path and you can not try different tactics at all.
