Post by: Hawklore on September 22, 2004, 02:22:33 PM
Looking for some old Tin Cans...

Clean, and ****..

Gonna use them for a WWII tactical as a booby trap, make some noise during the night etc..

Anyone know where I could get some?

And anyone got some good russian tactics for booby traps?

Thanks..

Most cans now'a'days are aluminum...

Not hard enough to make a clanking sound..

try reading army field manual FM 5-31 boobytraps and/or TM 31-210 improvised munitions handbook for informational porposes only. making traps to hurt people no matter if its in your house or on your property is highly illegle. dont do anything stupid please.

You should ask your re-enactor buddies how to do that Hawklore.

When I was a civil war  re-enactor we had meetings where we made up a couple hundred powder blanks for the rifles.  It was very tedious work.  They gave them to me when we were done.  I never used 'em all though.  I still have a bag of about 100 rounds sitting around here somewhere, made up 20 years ago.

I'm prepared.  Forget Hell!

Exactly, a few pebbles in a cola can make very efficient noise makers.
