since we now know what the bomber is may i be the first to wholesale whine...

WHAAA WHATS THE NEW TANK!


i hope its a t-34...or at least a usefull allied tank.

Is tank really in development? I lightly doubt it is going well now.
I guess it will be delayed and they release 2.01 with these excellent new planes.
I don't want 2.01 to be delayed for new tank any longer.

Of course, I hope new tank will be revealed, but I want to play in Ki-84 than I look at tank.

Looks like we both got what we wanted.  And yes I agree, wait for the next patch after 2.01 to implement a tank.  I need my 24!!!

According to what HiTech and Pyro posted last week the Ki-84 should be done now and the B-24J looks like it still has the interior ro be done.  After the Con I think NATEDOG has the time to do the tank while SUPERFLY finishes the B-24J.  I think that was the plan from the beginning.

Hey Cooley, you can't lose on the tank if it is either of the popular guesses.  T-34 or M4A2 Sherman.

M-24 Chaffee? Really Pyro?

Good tank! Started delivery in 43 and was even used in the Korean War!

I don't even think he was teasing.  He was just pointing out another option in keeping with the "4" numerology that Cooley had posited.

What it is will be revealed only when the tank is shown.

I'm still betting on a Sherman 76mm.

While a Shermie seems more likely due to TOD, I would like to see a T-34. I remember taking that tin-can out for joy-rides in AW, great fun for the patient, and it was like kicking over a hornet's nest when you got to someone elses airfield :D

I kinda thought that, at first. But then I remembered that the Ki-84 isn't a western european aircraft, so that may leave the tank question up in the air. But then I figued out the HTC secret code that's been hinted at throughout the forums and, lo and behold, I now have an accurate list of the next 20 additions to AHII. The next tank will be:

I've been thinking... if the new tank is the Sherman (aka Ronson, "lites first time, every time") wouldn't that require extra programming to implement the Sherman's only advantageous quality: the gryroscopically stabilized main gun?
