Her original name was "Melville W. Fuller", built as EC2-S-C1 Type (one of the liberty types), hull # 504, in Permanente Metals Richmond, California Yard #1.

She was decommissioned in November 1945.

 I think, that since the other is AKA, and this one is AK, that theirin lie the diferance, look a the image of the AKA shown on your llink, I beleave were looking at two diferent ships.
