Title: UK humour (the others won't get it, except maybe Curval)
Post by: beet1e on September 28, 2004, 10:36:00 AM
I heard a real gutbuster from Rory on Sunday night. He was impersonating Blair, and it went like this:

I've written to Gordon to ask if I can rely on his support for the next five years after the election, and he replied "No you can't". It's funny, I'd never seen "can't" spelt like that before...

Then yesterday, Jo Brand was doing her usual estuary English bit. There's always one thing she ends up talking about. This time, she referred to it as the "velvet tardis"!! :rofl

Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my uncle Jack off a horse.." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse.."
