They really make aiming difficult in many situations. In real life the tinted glass could be folded up or down per the pilots wishes, and since we dont have this feature it would be better if they were removed alltogeter.
Thanks

Yes. Agreed. Please do this.

the 109G-10 is the only gunsight I remember to be especially dark. but, I've never blamed it on a miss. so, whatsamatterwithu? :)

What i've seen with the g10 site is on some maps at certain times of the day over certain terrain colors the only way you know a plane/con is there is the red icon. I find on some maps i gotta set the gamma as high as 1.5/1.6 to see in these situations. So the rest of the view, that is not looking through the site, is way to bright! Gets hard on the eyes, and mine are gettin older too.
Don't notice this so much on the 190's.
The g10 site is just too dark. Using a pony/spit/la7/etc. same situation and I can clearly see the con NP.
Please remove the dark tint from the 109's!
Our tell me how to remove the dark tint from the 109's PLEASE!!!

Ah, yea...I could see how that might be a problem.
I think the G-10 is the only LW plane with such a dark gunsight.

This is exactly correct. I haven't tried gamma myself, but without gamma changes there are times when the other plane is completely invisible against the terrain d100 away, which is ridiculous. Since the tint could be removed IRL, it should be removed here as well.

As seen in the picture the gunsight "shade" could be toggled up or down at any time by the pilot.

Ki-61/67 too.

HTC already made this fix to the FW190A. They probably haven't yet gotten around to checking the other planes (which they should probably do ASAP). :=)
