When downloading templates to my pc
it thinks the files are in psp
but when I try to open them, you see
they come up invalid format to me
So what's a poor ol sob (like me)
got to do to edit in psp?
Is there a trick, a simple beginning
that let's Arlo try his hand at skinning?
-
I have same problems
I wanna skin another VF-17 but blah
-
Welp arlo, the first thing is to make sure you have PSP or Photoshop.
Assuming you do...
You should be able to edit each layer just like in paint or any other thing you do in PSP. Give a little more info on what the problem is and Im sure there will be guys here more than willing to help you out.

psp7, I've had it awhile
but what I've downloaded appears "invalid file"
cannot be opened, decyphered or used
is it the file or my pc that's confused?

I just downloaded all of the USN (I assume thats what you were getting) templates to test. They all worked for me. Id assume its your computer.
Are you unzipping the files before you try to open them?

Unzipping and clicking then a window appears
my psp7 doth think the files queer
though icon for use accompanies each
the picture to edit is still out of reach

perhaps it is a PSP8 file?
Im not sure about the compatability, but when I used PSP7 I noticed it had a hard time opening PSP8 files for some reason.

I think it's a mindgame played on my brain
the file, it just opened ... I cannot explain

Getting everything to match up on the FM2-alo is a bit harder with that seperate wing insignia thing. But maybe I'll get things to match up after I dicker around with it a bit:

As fast as you put that together you'll have the whole Rangoon planeset done in "two weeks" :)
Looking good.

Arlo - I don't think either PSP 7 or 8.1 supports the latest Photoshop file type.

Ive got PSP8 and can open any of the files on ah-skins.com. Just a sidenote.

8.1 will open them all, but if you notice on some eg Hurri 1, it says unsupported features (think its photoshop groups). so it appears as a single layer almost.
