RAAF Bristol Beufort
Served 102 missions with 100 Sqn, QH-L. Crashed 20/01/45, Tadji PNG when the aircraft ran off the strip when landing, collided with transport vehicles and a building. Crew; FLTLT Harry John Fowler 415636 (pilot), FLTLT Francis Owen Smith 422062, FLTLT John William Shipman 422085 and FLGOFF Arthur Geoffrey Waite 406817 survived the crash. This crew killed 15/03/45 in A9-650. Currently undergoing restoration at the Australian War Memorial, Treloar Centre.
Shoulda covered that RAAF serial Brady :)
