So what did Dem presidential contender John Kerry take out of his jacket as he approached the stage [with his back to the auditorium's audience]?
or maybe he didnt..lololo
Hes guilty already for Treason..migth as well lie some more
-
Holy smokes....
I read this thing that one of the freepers said right after the debate... It was crazy...
He was losing his mind because he was convinced he knew why Bush got so pummeled during the debate.
Bush's tie was crooked.
This guy was saying "Watch the hand shake! Freeze frame 327! You'll notice that Kerry hangs onto Bush's hand for an extra half a second, just as Bush was turning to go to his podium! The effect was to spin Bush's torso in such a way as to make Bush's tie go crooked. And Bush looked ridiculous with his tie crooked! Someone needs to look into this!"
Thanks for the laughs, BGB.
-
Looks like he cheated to me. A nonissue though especially compared to his turning over government of the US to the UN. If Kerry is elected then we deserve whatever doom is in store for us.
-
Maybe Kerry passed a global test to disregard the rules of the debate.
Maybe he got more nations to cooperate, unless it was a North Korean cheat sheet then he would go it alone.
Maybe he wanted more countries to help him cheat yet it was the wrong cheat sheet in the wrong debate.
The world ponders......
-
All I know is that Kerry would never lie, it's not like him at all.
-
Cry me a river
-
Outstanding! I didn't know that Rove was this desparate. :D
-
Gotta admit, it's so "Kerry"

>>you're too dumb to cry over.<<
Oh what next, a hissy fit?
Draw in your claws girlie and get over it.
(note to moderator - action = reaction)

Wait a minute.
We all saw Kerry taking notes during the debate.
It was as plain as day.
So was that against the rules or not?
-
Notes were allowed. The rulez in this debate went so far as to stipulate what were and what were not acceptable pens and paper.... but they were allowed.
Quick.... look under yer bed... I thought I heard something.
-
I'm pretty sure I saw Bush taking notes during the debate as well FWIW.

it was actually a pretty good debate for me. I didnt hear anything different than what I already perceived as the status quo between these two. Yes, kerry stood straight and talked straight, Bush slouched and spoke in disjointed and fragmented sentances, even worse than usual. Still, I supported his positions going into the debate and I understood what he was attempting to communicate. Nothing changed for me. Nothing was said that hasnt already been said. No surprises.
Still two presidential debates to go and Bush just might get motivated, who knows. Still wont change anything for me. The vice presidential debates are already over with as far as Im concerned, Cheney wins by sheer overwhelming force of intelligence.
Vote to win the war in Iraq, vote Bush.
Vote to lose the war in Iraq, vote kerry.

Note taking was allowed. The agreed upon rules stated however that ANY paper or pens would be placed on the podium ONLY by the moderator. What did Kerry take from his pocket and place on the podium?
-
It's obvious he was looking for something in his pocket to throw to the crowd...since T-Shirt Zookas weren't allowed.
-
You guys didn't hear the squeaking noises coming from Bush's podium while Kerry spoke?
Give me a break...
And listen to it again.
Kerry: "I think....."
Bush: "squeak squeak squeak"
It sounded like Bush came to the debate armed with a Sharpie.
Thing is... I have a trained ear... I went through art school, and I know about Sharpies. Each stroke of the pen painted a picture. By the end of the debate, I knew fully what the picture was.
It was of a log cabin, with smoke rising from a chimney. There was a river cutting through the cabin's front yard leading away to the mountains. There was a tree beside the cabin. There were clouds over the cabin, with a sun shining through them. Various 'V' shapes were seaguls flying through the clouds.
-
I think you're still not getting it Nash. The participants could provide their own writing implements and paper but it had to be given to and placed on the podium by the moderator.
Guess whether or not Kerry cheated just depends on what the word "cheat" means. Here we go again.
-
war heros don't cheat
"I know what combat is..."
LOL

It's exactly the same as band camp. All except for the fact that it lasts 6 years longer, costs 17 thousand a year, and only 2% of the applicants get accepted. Other than that.... yeah... completely.

But the end result of both, Nash, is that you flip burgers for minimum wage.
Edit-In an artistic fashion, of course...

Is that right.....
-
That is the royal "you", not you. Just like Marine Biologists (my dream and major for 4 years) work in pet shops, bagging fish for minimum wage.
-
You must be talking about 'fine art' (painting, sculpture etc.)... Totally different than what I was in.
But okay - I get yer point.... It aint innacurate.

I'd bet Nash makes quite a bit of dough. The guy has talent and probably is in a market short on the skills he brings to the table.

Yep. I doubt he has talent. I doubt he makes a lot of dough. I don't he brings mad skills to the table.

And you base that on what?
You know, I can dissagree with people all day long, but never let that get personal. From what I have seen of Nash, he has proven to be pretty damn creative, witty, smart and open minded... a lot more so than many others here.

Where do you get the information that leads you to conclude he
A: Makes a lot of dough
B: Has a lot of talent
C: Is in an industry that lacks people with skills, and that he has those skills?
Just curious.
open minded...
:lol :lol :lol :lol

Thanks Nuke...
I suggest both of you give it a break....
-
Sorry Nash...

No worries...
Just a damned stupid turn this thread took... Prolly my fault. :D
