Hi all,
We are looking for a M4 series Sherman Tank. Preferably running, but will take restorable. If any of you happen to know where you may know of one for sale, or that is questionable, let me know when you can. It is for a museum.
Thanks

You might able find a M4 Sherman tank at the junkyard, but lol it's really hard to find and most of M4 Sherman tanks could be anywhere in the world.
Good Luck, Bodhi
BTW: Check it out at: http://www.militaryvehiclesmagazine.com

I was just looking at a bunch of very neglected tanks this past weekend.
They were at Base Borden in Ontario. A number of Shermans and assorted tanks from all over the world. The former base commander ordered the hanger where they were all stored torn down and now they are rusting in the rain.
Sad

am a member of longstanding, we already have an White M2A1 Halftrack that participated in the Normandy Landings, as well as a White M3 Scout Car that was a Russian Lend lease Vehicle. Just have not seen a M4 Sherman for sale in quite soem time.

Me and a couple of friends looked for a T-55 a while back, but after a couple of weeks we figured out that our women would not like it at all so we let it go.
Now im glad we did even if it would have been a nice place to hide from them when we have been naughty :)

very unrealistic for us... a Sherman fits just fine with our ww2 collection though.

you know now that i think of it, we do have a lot of shermans lying around all over the country, but as far as i know, none of them work or even close to that, exept the ones in the museums
