Post by: Dead Man Flying on October 04, 2004, 09:36:46 PM: Kid #2 made an appearance at 7:17am this morning after only three hours of labor. Everybody welcome Katelyn Jessica into this wacky world. Both mom and baby are doing great, and I'm of course the happiest dad around.

Of interest, our 2nd kid (now 7 months old) is developing a lot faster then the first. We think he's watching is older (2.5 years) brother and imitating.

Post by: Dead Man Flying on October 11, 2004, 03:54:32 PM: Whew! Thanks, everyone! It's been one heckuva week. Thankfully she sleeps a lot better and longer than her older brother did. Having the second kid was not as big of an adjustment as I'd expected, though her good sleeping habits help. Once she's more awake in a few weeks, I'm sure all hell will break loose.

Suddenly I went from being responsible for one child (the older boy) to being responsible for 2 (the older and younger boy) while my wife dealt with the baby (little girl).

Interestingly enough breast feeding a baby isn't a whole lot of work. In fact there was many a time I went to see if all was well, only to find both of them fast asleep.

"I'm going to look after the baby, can you watch the boys?" became my wife's classic line, especially on weekends.

RRrrrrrright.
