Title: Gonna put the Malta Spits on hold
Post by: Kev367th on October 06, 2004, 12:16:13 AM
At least until I can get some info that is better than a rough guess.

So instead - Spit V, 401Sqn RCAF, F/O Jack Shepherd, late 1943
(At least I have a pic of it)

Was gonna finish this Spit 9, but I think the squad art would be in the way

Looks great Kev.  Now if we could only get HT and company to clip the wings of the Spit V :)

There was actually a clipped-wing malta spitfire done by someone awhile ago-check the spin department. It had a different color scheme than the ones you are working on though. They also made an amazing spit cockpit. He clipped the wings by making part of it transparent.

Arlo - It may be a possibility.
Start learning 3dcanvas, I believe when its officially adopted we will be able to submit our own models. There is a free evaluation version but I think in the end we will need the next version up as it has more export formats.
