yup.. kerrie has pulled within 11 electorial votes of Bush in likely votes... The support is not strong with only a percent or two leads in the states he needs but...
Bush does not have enough to win at this point (kerrie is worse) for the first time in a while.
looks about like a repeat of 2000 at this point with Bush barely getting by. Looks like the same ol map with the only importand states being Pa., OH, IA and Mi and Mo.
If kerrie loses any of them he loses. If Bush doesn't take one of them he loses.
getting more interesting in some ways and more of the same ol same ol in others... switch to the 2000 map to see what I mean...
even worse... kerrie camp has sent out newsletters asking for donations to help in the legal battle over anticipated recounts.

I'll be voting for a head of cabbage this year.
Will do just as good a job as either of those two bellybutton bags.

My state is one of the very few all blue states. its 54% sKerry, 43% Bush and that sounds about right based on what I am hearing and seeing. We were the only state in the union to go for dukakis back in 1980. The state is overrun with bleeding heart whacked out gun hating liberals. I might as well not vote but I am going to anyway, just to get my vote in there when the whining starts about how much the electoral college is outdated and how there is no such thing as the tyranny of the majority.

Has Bush been spending any money in California this go around? I'm a bit surprised to see that as close as it is. According to that website, it was a toss up in mid August. Losing California would be the end of Kerry.

Not much chance of kerrie losing California or new york or washington.

I agree... but I was surprised to see the polls within the margin of error in the middle of August. I thought Kerry would have California by >10%

It's because Arnold is there, many Californians seem to like him. From what I have read he seems to be doing a good job.
