Vote for Kerry: Hand the terrorists a victory.
Vote for Bush: Piss off the French.
Besides, even if Kerry won, I could live with that as a consolation prize. Because it would screw the "Red Queen" for 2008.
Its all good.
:D

Every cloud has a silver lining
But Kerry is proven to be to liberal for me and blows with whatever the political wind is for the day.
I wonder why anyone would want to be President, the desire to be should disqualify you from running.
The real leaders would never put up with this crap, Powell comes to mind.

According to Cheney's own words, Powell was kept outta the loop.

Yeah I hear ya. But the question is would it be worth it to grin-an-bear Kerry for 4 in order to block Hillary?
Sometimes you have to sacrifice a minor loss to avoid a much larger defeat.

not my point
The point was...
The crap you need to put up with and the politicking needed to win the White House is not what today’s leaders would want to deal with.
Think back 25 or 50 years and muse as to the way the political arena was back then. The honor and civility shown, even the affairs of JFK were given the blind eye by the press. FDR was not even shown in the wheel chair often and his handicap was never mentioned. Think as to how these items would be handled today when the slightest tilt of the tie or a wrinkle in the forehead is slammed in the press.
Kind of sad IMO

I'd gladly accept change today if a real leader with a new vision and real legitimacy stepped up to challenge Bush..
We just dont have that this year in Kerry...
I dont see that in Kerry's 20 years in the senate..
I dont see that in Kerry's other public service.
I dont see that in some of Kerry's vietnam behavior.
I dont see that in his post war activities..
I dont see that in his campaign.
I dont see that in his stances on Iraq.

I would rather have Bush win and will vote for himn but the opnly real big deal with kerrie in is that he will apoint flaming liberal supreme court judges if he gets a chance and he will mess with my Hot Rods and guns a bit but.... mostly he will be too busy to cause too much trouble if he somehow get's elected.
He really is a wishy washy lieing liberal with a $1000 haircut but... we have had just as bad before and survived.

no arguing with that.
I've always said we should draft the prez for just that reason.

I liked Kerry a whole lot more before the DNC corrupted him.
On any given day, I don't think the average American could tell who was in the White House without looking at the news. I see two choices - Bush who seems to be as truthful as possible (and I don't think any president can be truthfull ALL the time), or Kerry, who seems to have taken up pandering and his slimey little ambulance chaser.
The decision is easy for me to now, but I regret it, because I have a lot less to argue about now :D
Drinking just aint as fun if you aren't arguing ....
hmmm maybe religion?
