Nice Job Kev,

However, I haven't seen any photo's of Aussie Spits with the band around the tail, at least that broad. What colour chips are you using btw?

FTJR - Some did have the color band.

Few pics on the net also showing the band. Just used standard RAF size band as I 'assume' they would just overpaint the sky color.

Only one that was hard to find was the values for RAAF Dark Foliage Green.

Really nice looking Spit!  I love the detail around the aileron hinge - that dark line really adds some separation.

nice Work Kev love to see the Aussie Skins. I have the plans to a SpitfireV model with Australian markings,Glamour Girl i believe was its name. Kev would you be interested in skinning it? If so ill send you all the details i have.

I stand corrected. I hadn't seen that before. And thanks for the link, it is the same i;ve been using. The foilage green there is not to your liking?

LSJ - Sure
FTJR - The foliage green at skinners heaven is not Dark Foliage Green.
After a lot of searching round the web the 'recommended' RGB was 59 59 49 for Dark Foliage Green.

Updated original pic, spinner and rear band now the correct "Sky Blue" color.
