Title: CNN Debate Coverage
Post by: Gixer on October 09, 2004, 03:06:21 AM
CNN wouldn't happen to be biased towards the Dem's would it?

Couldn't help but laugh while watching their coverage of the Debate, when ever they had one of their guys talking or panning around the room all you could see is a mass of Kerry/Edwards signs and the odd Bush Cheney.

Plus watching the students try and and get "their" sign in front of the other was more interesting to watch then the comments at times. Was waiting for someone to get donked on the head but didn't happen on camera.

I'm sure all the stations are the same but took me as being particully tacky.

No, there is no bias in the media, except on Fox and talk radio.

They were broadcasting from a college campus. Most news outlets had the same demographic in the background. College kids tend to be liberal... then they develop brain damage over the years becoming republicans just before the onset of alzheimers.

Click the "who won the debate" button on their website to see who watches the Communist News Network.

Here, I'll save you the trouble:

They all have bias. All of them.
Fox leans more to the right the rest tend to lean more to the left. with the exeption of CNN wich leans so far left it looks at the world sideways

no they start as being liberal, then as they grow older and have children the cold splash of water in the face called reality hits them.
then they either run all the way to the right or some more level headed folk fall somwhere near the middle.

"Anyone who is not a liberal in their youth has no heart.
Anyone who remains so as they grow older has no brain" -Winston Churchill

truer words were never spoken

Iron, a lot of the news sites had polls like that.  Me thinks the  democrat email network got the "vote" out on those polls last night.  The fox poll was even more screwed up last night.

it SHOULD be common knowledge that there is no such thing as "nonbiased".   Everything is biased.

2nd that - they know how to wack the online polls -wonder if they figured out how to do the same with online voting and absentee votes as well

though fox is usually right leaning, I have found them middle to middle left during the final month of this election which skews the balance between them and the other totally left news orgs

Forgot to mention the loss of a sense of humor so commonly accompanies the brain damage.

No sweat anon. While I am a pinko liberal I am also a 'tear up during the National Anthem' patriot who is very thankful that there are people like you at the pointy edge of the sword. I may disagree with the President, but I am dam proud of our armed forces.. go figure huh?

lets hope the vast majority of democrats are like you as opposed to some of the more visible ones. im old enough to not get pissed by it. mainly because of perspective ive seen how people are in eastern california and in the midwest and the south where if we were training somewhere even before 9/11 it was guranteed someone would try to buy the boys at least one round of drinks. but some of the younger guys both USN and USMC had a tough time with some of what they heard when partying in los angeles area when they got back from afghanistan and this is before the big dance in iraq. if we could round up falwell and roberts and their crew and all the moveon.org types and give them two states a piece and let them secede ive gotta say i wouldnt be against it. neither would last long. the super righties would piss off someone and not have to muscle to back up the words and the super lefties would continue with the assumption that no one would come after them if they just left everyone alone even if they are defenseless.

yep... the old hippies are pretty harmless... kinda fun to listen to.  they don't have the energy to express the hate anymore than they have the hair to grow a ponytail that isn't ridiculous.

Won't have to shoot any of em at the riots/lootings.

If you kept watching it, later on during a talking-head spin-show, no one could hear what Karen Hughes was saying because people in the background kept yelling '4 More Years!'

Maybe they should given their debate report from inside a Cone of Silence somewhere under Atlanta?
