RIP
-
In case it needs to be clarified, Christopher Reeve has passed away.
He's probably in a much better place. I'd rather be dead than be the condition he was in.
-
RIP :(

That's too bad...I woulda liked to see the stubborn bastard walk before he kicked it.
-
Odd. I just read his Readers Digest article just now and then clicked on this forum and saw this thread. Intersting world we live in.
-
:(
-
He's running now. <
> RIP.

At least now he can finally chase down that horse and beat it over the head for throwing him .
-
-
Damn. He was so motivated to get better I really wanted to see him succeed.
He got a wound common in paralyzed people and then it became infect and a systemic infection led to the coma and heart failure.
A stupid infection.

I woke up from my slumber for some odd reason and I go and check the news and wham! What is really creepy is that here on campus Homecoming is starting this week. Our Homecoming float is...none other than a tribute to Superman, its halfway done.
Wow. Just Wow.
-
I was hoping he'd walk again...
-
RIP
-
:'( Rest in peace Superman

Sir. may God be with you.

He proved to many that it is better to live than to give up. A true American hero.
On a side note, not many are aware that Robin Williams has been quietly paying over $400,000 a year to cover all of Reeve's medical expenses since his insurance ran out. There are heroes everywhere.
-
Yeah, I was hoping to see him walk again, too. The Superman curse continues.
-
SUPERMAN IS DEAD, LONG LIVE SUPERMAN.
Had the chance to meet him once, in 1990, helped him prepare his boat, the ANGLE, for a sailing race off the coast of RI. A really down to earth gentleman, no pretense about him, was really appreciative of my help, and respected my knowledge.
God Bless you Chris.
:(

He was the kind of person who was successful at just about anything he tried. I bet in another ten years he would have been able to move (granted stem cell research was allowed).

RIP
(granted stem cell research was allowed). [/B]
Exactly
Thankfully it's accepted in most places, there have been allready great results from it. Russia is at the top in this field I believe.

Well I guess Chris Reeves would have been able to walk if Jesus used his magic to cure him.

A big
. I really was hoping to see him walk again.
Let's hope that the same thing doesn't happen to Michael J. Fox with his Parkinson's Disease :( .

Which is exactly why he's more courageous than the average person.

May God rest his soul....he always seemed to be such a good guy.

This just occured to me... doesn't he look a bit like Lex Luther in this pic?

C. Reeve
I had a profound admiration for him but I've allways hated Superman ...
-
Geez, I rented Superman just last week as I hadn't see it in over a decade. He totally owned that part.
-
well you gotta wonder how he managed to wear latex undies and grab lois lane without having a 'wardrobe malfunction'
