Title: Hey Libs. any explanation for this?

This is why things are the way they are.

I wish the press would report the news and not try to use thier position to change the world.

I guess they call it a "LIBERAL arts digree"

Any wonder why the media is trusted less and less,

example:

The story also included the false claim by Senator Kerry that, “The President has presided over an economy where we’ve lost 1.6 million jobs. The first President in 72 years to lose jobs.” Readers had to consult a separate article by Post reporters Glenn Kessler and Ceci Connolly to know that wasn’t true. “Kerry at one point said that ‘the President has presided over an economy where we’ve lost 1.6 million jobs.’ Kerry misspoke. He meant to qualify that statistic by referring to ‘private sector’ jobs. The net number of jobs lost since Bush became President is about 800,000, because of growth in the public sector.”

Another:

But they can do better. CBS Evening News reporter Sharyl Atkisson presented a story on September 1, 1996, where she referred to 5.4 percent unemployment as, “Low unemployment” and part of, “a strong economy…” She was right then and, since the numbers are similar and unemployment is identical in 2004, she would be correct now. The problem was not her initial reporting, but it is how the media report the issue when a Republican is President. If you have relatively the same economic numbers, then why isn’t it the same story?

""public sector"" thats school teachers , school bus drivers, police, fireman, city workers, country workers, state workers.

in my county they had to hire 200 new school bus drivers because of a 'school choice' program that the people wanted, one of my out of work neighbors got one of the driver jobs.

i'm sure that the 200 new drivers really hate the fact they have a "public sector" job with good pay and retirement benfits.

"One Economy, Two Spins"

Heheh, comparing 2004 and 1996 eh?  Why not compare an aggregate of the entire Presidentcies?  The US has alot ground to make up for the recession at the being of Bush's Presidentcy.

Ya my mistake.
2.4 trillion.

"Another issue is that the numbers do not count other shortfalls and leakage. For instance, in the 2003 projection, the U.S. Department of the Treasury used a $2.4 trillion Social Security surplus to offset its cash shortfall.  "

Nothing to say I bet.

No I didnt think so.

Arent you the pathetic slavish follower of the worst leader the western world will know in our lifetimes...

exactly. you'll say nothing.
Your great leader transfered 2.4 trillion dollars from the social security pile to cover deficit. Or the deficit would be what..over 4 trillion dollars.
Now seeing that you can say nothing.
kerry kerry kerry.
Thats allright Bush is used to doing things that he will never pay the price for. It is the story of his life.

He wont need social security.
